Strategy and Tactics are both great examples of Tricksy Words. It has taken me a long time to be able to speak to whether Belleview’s work is Strategic or Tactical in nature but at least all of that reflection has left me with a greater understanding of strategy, tactics, and how I want to talk about these concepts moving forward!
The Archimedes quote that begins “Give me a lever long enough” highlights the need for both “Levers” (aka visionaries) and “Fulcrums” (aka implementers) if you truly want to have a meaningful impact on the world. But how can you structure your organization actually incorporate and support both?
